Lightning Energy started as one electrician who believed homes could run on less, and grew into a full-service solar, battery, heat pump, air conditioning, and EV charging company for Victoria.
Our story
Lightning Energy was founded in Victoria in 2017, after our founder spent a decade working as an electrician and saw how disconnected most solar and battery sales really were. Since then we've grown into a team of licensed electricians and CEC-accredited installers who plan solar, battery, hot water, and EV charging as one system, not four separate purchases.

A note from our founder
I have been an electrician for over 15 years. After a decade on the tools I moved into the renewable energy industry because electrifying Australian homes is the single biggest lever families have to cut costs and reduce emissions.
Our job is to make that process simple, honest, and done right, from the first call through to installation and beyond.
